Establishing a SCHOLARSHIP FUND allows the donor to choose to benefit young persons or those who wish to continue education later in life.  Additionally, a donor may name the scholarship’s advisory committee and the guidelines for candidate selection.

The majority of the scholarship grants awarded by the Chester County Community Foundation are specific to a particular high school or field of study as designated by the donor. That is, the donor establishes a Fund for a scholarship that is designated to go to a student who is graduating from a specific high school or pursuing a specific field of study. The high schools' guidance counselors are our principal contacts for these awards.
