Peoples First Scholarship Fund
Mission
Statement...
The purpose of this Fund shall be to
provide financial assistance by providing scholarships for
educational purposes to employees who were displaced from their
jobs as a result of the sale of Peoples First Bank to National
Penn Bank Corporation in 2004. Distributions will be made to
help individuals with re-training costs or with the educational
costs of other family members (e.g., children); and other
charitable causes as recommended by the Fund and approved by the
Board of the Community Foundation.
