The Kathleen McBratnie Memorial Fund

Mission Statement...
The McBratnie family
established a memorial fund at the Community Foundation as a way
to honor Kathy’s contributions to Chester County forever.
Kathy’s family and friends have raised funds to award
scholarships to benefit programs for West Chester youth.
We
hope to inspire others to join us in our mission to support
outstanding children’s programs in our community. Two
scholarships are awarded annually to the following programs.
The West Chester Recreation’s
Send a Kid to Camp
Scholarship program creates opportunities for children that they
might not have encountered otherwise. The
Y.M.C.A.’s H.I.P. Kids (Health
Intervention
Program)
promotes healthy lifestyle choices for children 8 and up who are
at risk of becoming, or who are, overweight or obese. By
supporting the Kathleen
McBratnie Memorial Fund you are investing in our
children’s’ futures and the future of these important
developmental, motivational and educational programs!
