About
The Hickman...
The Hickman, a
personal care home residence
for older adults, has been
providing excellent care to the residents of Chester County and
the surrounding area for over a century. Founded by two Quaker
women in 1891, The Hickman is conveniently located in the heart
of historic West Chester. A non-profit community, our spirit of
caring and respect is accorded to each individual regardless of
race, faith, or ethnic identity. Our small, family-like
atmosphere and close ties to the surrounding community make The
Hickman a wonderful place to call home.
About
the Hickman Fund...

increase over time.

When there's a will, there's a
way...
Many donors find that a bequest to the Hickman Fund is one of
the simplest ways to give back and perpetually take care of the
organization that matters so much to them.
For those considering a bequest, here is sample language for
your will:
“I give ___% or $___ or the remainder of my estate or trust to
the Hickman Fund at the Chester County Community Foundation.”
Donors who choose to notify the Hickman of bequest arrangements
will be included in the Chester County Community Foundation’s
Legacy Society, if they so wish.
The Hickman
Fund is a fund of
the Chester County Community Foundation. A copy of the official
registration and financial information of the Chester County
Community Foundation may be obtained by calling the PA
Department of State at 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not
imply endorsement.
