The Dana Marie Carr Memorial Scholarship Fund

About the Fund..
Dana Marie Carr was a beloved second grader at Schuylkill Elementary School.  She died in a tragic automobile accident in 1999.  Fellow students and friends remember her as being sweet in heart and generous beyond her years, giving away smiles, giggles, laughter and love.

Dana Marie wanted to be a teacher when she grew up.  Her concern and compassion towards others and her dedication and joy towards learning would have made her a wonderful teacher.

Proceeds from the "Run for Dana Marie" go to the Dana Marie Memorial Scholarship Fund held at the Chester County Community Foundation, benefiting a Phoenixville Area High School Senior who demonstrates the same potential for success that Dana Marie showed in her short life.
