About the fund...

     Initiated in memory of Dr. Gerald E. Clark in December 2006, this fund will provide financial aid to a deserving senior from Unionville High School who will be continuing his or her education. This scholarship fund will be awarded annually to a student who is academically gifted and/or is in need of financial assistance. 

     The Clark family is proud to have founded a Charitable Trust and raise money for its growth. The money will be entrusted with the Chester County Community Foundation and invested so that these scholarships may be perpetuated for many years to come.

About Jerry...

     After 35 years in dentistry, Jerry Clark retired and pursued his passion for teaching at the Unionville High School. Jerry also volunteered at the Kennett Square Library working in the bilingual program.

     A scholar himself, Jerry was enthusiastic in presenting history, literature, and numerous other topics to students. His joy was infectious as he motivated and encouraged students to pursue their educations. Therefore, following his passing, it seemed fitting to offer a scholarship, in his name, to a deserving student graduating from Unionville High School and intent on continuing his or her education.

One Fun Day...

     Enjoy a day playing Jerry Clark's favorite game and raise money for some deserving kids!    

     We are hosting the first One Fun Day Golf Outing on June 16 at the Radley Run Country Club in West Chester, PA. All proceeds from the golf outing will benefit the Dr. Gerald E. Clark Memorial Scholarship.

     There are several different ways you can help! You may sign up for the full day of "One Fun Day," which includes lunch, golf, and dinner ($200). For those who do not wish to play golf, you may simply attend the dinner ($75). Hole sponsorships are also available ($200/hole). If you are unable to attend the event, please consider making a donation to the Endowed Memorial Scholarship. Any contributions are greatly appreciated!
