Purpose of the Carl O. Benner Scholarship Fund

The primary purpose of this fund shall be to support the graduating students of Coatesville Area High School.  These students shall be A.) scholars of the highest order; B.) strong in character; and C.) strong in citizenship qualities. Preference will be given to students in need, and special consideration shall be given to students pursueing a discipline in national interest.  While pursuing studies, students must maintain a 2.5 of 4.0 grade point average or equivalent and report the GPA to the Chester County Community Foundation at the completion of each year of the scholarship.
