job as an ambassador is to understand where a potential donor is on the
hierarchy and to move them up to levels of greater commitment. Most
prospects are somewhat AWARE of
charities and giving. We need to help them KNOW
more about the Community Foundation, LIKE
what we do, and PREFER us over other
charitable legacy options. People INSIST
the Community Foundation is the right option when they create donor advised
funds and encourage others to do so. They have truly decided to
BUY in for the long run when they
leave a legacy planned gift to their fund at the Community Foundation.
